"LOST" scene / the dance

James Isaac :L6
its a good animation, the changes between the tree girl and second girl is dramatic, when girl walks up to tree at first, fantastic imagery, once diving into water, the fluidity is blocky, overall the story and narration is good, visually appealing with nice touches in background with sun rays, shadows.

L5 : Steven Clarke
Firstly : The Narrative is good, I tried watching it without the sound and didn't really get the story, so it's quite helpful there.
Answer : If I could live without the voice over I would still not sure it works, need the right voice... soon.

Secondly: The camera shot makes the seed lasts a little too long on the fall... it makes it look really slow.
Answer: Incresed the seed of the falling seed looks better thanks.

On 0:42/0:43 it just seems to dissolve into the grass not really burry itself properly. Try changing camera angle and holding it a bit longer.
Answer : Dissolve is good! its a magic seed!

Thirdly: You walk cycle is a little stiff- the arms seem a major problem, if you reference the Ents from the Lord of The Rings, you'll see that although they are trees, the still move the arms properly (it just makes her look a bit stiff)(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sweh2EekM4M).
Answer : Moved her arms in and yes that helped thanks.

Fourthly: 3:37 When she is rising from the water (look at Angelina Jolie rise from Beowulf (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uS07sfiurno)).: Answer : I like that film

Fifthly: 5:01min Her swimming is a little bit like the walk where her arms don't come closer to her body, making it look un-natural. (Here's a reference that may help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-X9Zim9jOCI)
Answer : We must swim differently!...No moved her arms in abit and the action became something not what I wanted. She is a Tree so not Human, yet.

Sixthly: When the wings appear it looks good, but as they grow they dominate the screen and it might be me, yet seem to slightly Pixelate.
Answer : no the were wings built in MudBox with a strong yellow texture to give it that shimming look!

Lastly: I love the combination of the 3D and the film, it just adds some amazing depth and the scenery is amazing so Kudos on that.
